A Day
Method : video, 3D-stacked projectors and screen.
Year : 2012
‘A Day’ series is exploring the boundaries between the actual realm of a public space and these ephemeral perceptions of the realm from an individual viewpoint. In these work, I try to engage with personal recognition of spaces and to play with its similarities and differences of the realm in a visually abstracted loop.
This piece is based on active time and a static place. I used seven day’s videos of the same place to create a 3D projection. Most of the scene is overlapping on different videos, but at certain time, 3D effects works on all the static buildings and statues, but the moving objects overlap each other.
A Day, 8min 56sec, 3d stack-projection (or single channel video)
