Citizen X

This photography series, “Citizen X” is based on the artist's previous speculative design and wearable object ‘Lock at first sight’ (2020). In the photographs, the artist will simulate what future citizens would look like while they wear the 'Lock at first sight'. “Citizen X” will present sets of photography that present eyes of multiple people which disguise their authentic natural iris patterns by wearing 'Lock at first sight'. This photography series intends to provide the artist’s speculation of the future living in which wearable devices can protect natural biometrics from digital authentication systems.
