Rookie Award at T9Hacks 2021 (Mar. 21)

T9Hacks is a 36-hour hackaton competition run by ATLAS Institute.

My team (Minso Kim and Catherine Xiao) won a "Rookie Award" at T9Hacks 2021.

In this project, I led and developed the application's UX and graphic designs, and collected the relevant mental health researches.

Following is a brief description:

Our team proposes a mobile app, "Lively, Lovely." The goals in this project are delivering accurate information about emotional health in a friendly way and sharing (virtual) emotional support through its community ("comment" section in the app). Major target users are women and anyone interested in emotional health, specifically relationship and depression issues. Through this application, the team hopes to support a "lively" life and maintain a "lovely" relationship. The team has two members: a PhD candidate and a freshmen student. Both students have not participated in any Hackaton event before and also have limited experience in computer languages. However, the team had a beautiful idea and a keen sense of design. Furthermore, the graduate student shared her knowledge in "Adobe XD" with the 1st year undergraduate student. Although the individual XD the workshop was intensive due to the limited hours, the undergraduate student followed the critical functions of XD well.
